请教两个问题：都是关于public practice certificate
1 拿到PPC后，每年都要交费Renew certificate吗？
2 拿PPC的目的是什么？换句话说，我个人理解的是，qulified CPA 在firm里工作，如果涉及到签字和client manegement,那么它是有必要的，如果只是帮助partner 工作，不参与客户服务和tax planing的话，意义不大。我的理解对否？请明白人指教。

注册审计师才可以签审计报告。换句话说，如果你是CA但不是注册审计师，那你不能签审计报告。CPA,CA都可以申请做注册审计师。
CPA QUALIFIED 以后，如果想自己做FIRM就要申请专业注册了，一般是REGISTERED TAX AGENT 和REGISTERED AUDITOR，然后要申请PPC，就可以自己做了。
如果你能拿到REGISTERED AUDITOR，你可以比很多人做的东西多一些。大多数人只是拿到TAX AGENT，就像我一样。申请专业注册，很大程度上取决于你以前的老板愿不愿意给你REFERENCE。

If you wanted to run your own practising company to public, you need to fulfill the following conditions:
- Tax Agent Licence (if you need to lodge tax returns to ATO for your clients)
- Public Practising Certificate (If you wanted to run your own public practising company)
- Registered Company Auditor with ASIC (If you are providing audit services to some companies which were under legislation requirement)
- Enough client bases (no client, what's point to get all above qulifications? Better to be under employment)

cannot agree more with you, marketing is always a challenge for any business.

一个firm 注册下来就算什么都不做，cost最少也得1-2万，还是home base的，annual renew，PI，certificate，CPD。。。做生意可不是注册了就ok的，没有client base喝西北风吧。出来自己做至少需要有4万以上的client base加上以后有office可能有的walk in 和别人refer的client 才能立足不亏吧。
