International Composting Awareness Week runs from 7 -11 May this year and to help celebrate Maroondah City Council will be hosting two free composting, worm farming and bokashi workshops.
The workshops will cover how to set up and maintain a healthy compost system and will provide opportunity for troubleshooting problems people may have with their existing compost systems.
Participants will receive a free organic waste kitchen collector and go into a draw to win a free worm farm!
Bookings are essential. Please contact Council's Waste Education Provider, EnviroCom on 9703 5288 to secure your place.
