Then I for some odd reason tried the TG-1's current WebGUI login, and for some unknown reason this just works.
I'm not complaining because we eventually got the WAN to actually connect, but can someone please explain to me how on earth this makes any sense, I read something once saying technically all you need for iiNet PPPoE is VLANID 2, and it doesn't even check your username and密码，所以也许当我一开始尝试时，这与用户名和密码无关，而只是我没有设置vlanid？
