Can a closer guy install it for you?

Just as long as you're aware it's a parts warranty. You're liable for the labour to install it and dispose of the faulty one.
A bit of a side note,
I think this is the problem with alot of the installations of solar and all these rebated energy saving systems (HWS and AC).
Overseas companies dumping cheap junk out there and when it fails the company just supply's new cheap junk into the market.
