下面是我收到的邮件，仅作参考
Resident Return Visa (RRV) Appointment Checklist
Please use this checklist to ensure that your application is complete.
PART 1 - FORMS
q Have you lived in Australia for 2 of the last 5 years as an Australian permanent resident or citizen (who has now lost citizenship) at the time you will lodge your application?
q If yes, proceed to PART 2 - CHARGES
q If no, prior to attending your interview complete and bring Form 1085 - Application for a Resident Return visa or replacement evidence of a RRV
PART 2 – CHARGES
q Bring your application charge of $240, or your re-evidencing charge (for placing a new label into your new passport or travel document) of $60.

- Please pay by credit card, eftpos, money order or bank cheque.
- Please do not pay by cash or personal cheque
- Bank cheques and Money Orders must be made out to “DIAC”
- If necessary, you can split payments across different cards or between cheque and credit card
PART 3 – DOCUMENTS
Any document not in English must be accompanied by a translation completed by a National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) accredited translator. Visit the NAATI website at www.naati.com.au for more information or telephone 1300 655 080 to arrange document translations.
q Bring your current passport or travel document and any old passports or travel documents that are in your possession.
q If you have not previously held a Resident Return Visa, or you have lost or misplaced your passport, then you must provide evidence of grant of permanent residency. For example:
· Date of first arrival in Australia
· Name of ship or plane
· Port or airport of first arrival
· If arrived as a child – Father’s and Mother’s full names and dates of birth
If possible, please present travel documents that were used when you first entered Australia. An example: If you are a UK citizen who arrived in Australia prior to 1973 and have not travelled outside Australia since then you should provide either your original travel document or other evidence of your permanent residence. For example: statutory declarations stating that you are a permanent resident and if you arrived as a child, full name and date of birth of both parents. Examples of other evidence may include letters from employers, schooling records, bank records or tax assessment records.
q Bring evidence of any name changes (for example: if you have married since you first arrived in Australia, bring your official certificate from the Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages)
q If you have not spent a total of 2 of the last 5 years in Australia, you must bring evidence that you have substantial business, employment, cultural or personal ties to Australia which are of benefit to Australia. In addition, if you have been absent from Australia for more than 5 years bring evidence that you have compelling reasons for your absence.
AND
q you must bring a statement, written by you, detailing your substantial business, employment, cultural or personal ties to Australia which are of benefit to Australia.
Examples of evidence of a substantial business tie include Examples of Evidence to support a claim of employment ties include
· Annual financial reports
· Business transactions
· Bank statements
· Contracts obtained or awarded
· Business and personal records (example: payroll tax/business registration)
· Evidence that any business you own employs or will employ Australian citizens/permanent residents other than you and/or your immediate family
· Whether your business generates or will generate revenue for Australia
· Evidence you are personally involved in a business that is being set up in or is operating in Australia (Certificate of Registration of Business name, ASIC Historical Business Extract, Certificate of Registration of a Company, BAS statements, Tax Returns)
· Evidence of production of goods or services in Australia which replace imports
· Evidence you are transferring Australian technology offshore or introducing new technology to Australia · Letter of appointment
· Employment contract
· Recent official documents such as group certificates
· Employee identification/security passes
· Evidence you are employed by an Australian owned organisation (example: a company, university, college or religious organisation); a Commonwealth, State, Territory or Local Government organisation (including a Government Business Enterprise or a Statutory Authority/agency); or the Australian office of a multinational company or foreign owned company
Examples of evidence to support a claim of cultural ties may include Examples of Evidence to support claims of substantial personal ties may include
· Contacts
· Publications
· Evidence of membership of cultural associations
· Newspaper articles
· Programs from concerts · Birth certificates, marriage certificates, or divorce certificates of applicant and immediate family members
· Proof of children attending school in Australia
· Ownership deeds of house
· Car registration papers
· Bank statements
· Statutory declarations from applicant and/or relevant family/friends
· Receipts for payment of rates, rental of property, electricity bills etc.
Note: The above examples are suggestions only. You may submit other forms of evidence not listed above.

我是期满半年多之后因为要回国去申请的RRV，没有预约，也没有提供任何证明材料，当场排队、领号，等叫号、交钱、贴标签。

住满两年就行，不用证明材料，也不用预约。

永居签证到期，身在澳洲
情况一：只要不离开澳洲，可以放心不换新签证，永远居住下去。省了$240签证费，哈哈
情况二：如需出境，则需换新RRV签证才能保证继续顺利往返。在澳洲居住累计时间超过2年（移民办公室有出入境记录，签证官一查便知），不问缘由，不用准备任何资料，带护照和原签证，给钱立马就换。
情况三：需要换RRV，但在澳洲居住时间不到2年，这种情况比较复杂。需提供与澳洲的紧密关系文件证明和需要RRV往返的理由。如工作证明、在澳房产证明、孩子在澳洲上学证明、在澳生意证明等。个人认为有在澳房产证明最为牢靠和简单，提供购房合同复印件即可，换签证的理由也不需要，给钱立马换。资料不在多，主要让移民官了解到你和澳洲千丝万缕的关系，会以澳洲为家。需要准备的资料和表格可以参考http://www.immi.gov.au/

按照规定换RRV无需预约。如要求先打电话预约可能是当时移民官较忙没有空闲，是推辞。你可以说打过热线电话，被告知无需预约。而且可以打热线投诉他们。

住满2年的话，只需要带上护照，签证，到移民局，办一下RRV，前后10分钟时间（叫号排队时间不算）。不需要工作证明的。如果换过护照的话，带上原护照和新护照。
