比如,anchor 时放出的绳子的长度,你怎么判断放出的绳子够否?上面用浮球来拔anchor,特别适用深水重anchor强current,但是,转圈时你怎么判断球已经把 anchor 拔出?

我的经验就是靠手拉,20米深的水,还没见到铁链子光拉绳子的时候腰部已经严重超负荷,见到链子头更大,6米的铁链子,粘的都是淤泥,又滑又重,每次都有剪了绳子不要了的冲动。 总结就是:拉锚就是个苦B的活

Is your boat 6m? 6米的铁链子is quite long. I hate anchoring.
I use 2m chain for my 5.6m is enough for what I need.

船身是5.5米,本来配的是2米的链子,可是有时候下锚船还是动,(淤泥地)你知道新人不知道掉点就只能往船多的地方凑,停不住船挺郁闷的,后来人家说多长的船就加多长的链子,所以自己又加了4米。

I agree that video clips or verbal or reading references are ideas but when comes to actual exposure it will be a different ball game. As I always reiterate the conditions describe in the references may not be the same when you actually encounter, and this is most likely unforseen accidents happen. Simply it's like knowledge you learn from books and visual clips will vary in certain ways.
By saying that Jack has a good point that it's better than nothing. All these references input are food for thought. The more you learn it gives you more ideas to try and experience. Especially with modern video image learning is no more boring.

肯定不一样!但是钓鱼原理是一样的,我有时候drift 时再加上顺风,2、3 knots 很常见的啊
你们那的current未必有我们这的强,你们那有多少人用sea anchor的?我们这夏天 offshore 玩沉底几乎都是不可能的,current 一般从2 knots起的

Actually from what I have learned and input from other experience boaters, chains length at the end of anchor rope varies from one's boat size, weight, anchor selectioni, and also the current factor of where the anchoring spot.
The main purpose of chain addition is to ensure the anchor, if appropriate anchor is selected, aligns with the seabed in narrow angle so the anchor can grip hold of the terrain with the chain weight, notwithstanding under current would drag and resist your rope from aligning the seabed.
Depend on the boat size and the material of your boat, i.e. glass or alu, the requirements for chain length varies on the tidal resistance of one's boat on water. In saying so, the current plays a factor too. For example when I fish off Western Port in Victorian waters where half a knuckle size sinker can easily afloat in spring tide, then one needs a longer chain to serve the purpose of anchoring.

铁链的主要目的是用自己的重量来让anchor 在水底,这样你的锚才能牢牢的抓住底,特别是沙地。
知道了这个原理后我们再来分析怎么运用anchor。当你的船越大,一般浮力就会越大,在current里的受的力就会越大,这时候为了不让你的anchor被水流推起来,你需要更重的铁链来保持anchor在水底。
同时,安全的anchor是要非常注意绳子的长度的,特别是浅些的水和offshore,发生过很多事故都是因为不正确的anchor。这里我不得不提下,永远把绳子固定在船头,避免船侧。而绳长和水深的安全比例美国认为1:5,而澳洲水况更rough些所以认为最安全的比例为1:7。这样的同时,绳子长了,和水底的角度会更小了,就也会更好的帮助你的anchor在水底了。所以,你下锚不仅仅和铁链的长短有直接关系,同时和你怎么运用anchor rope 也直接关系。

我在bay里最深的地方可能都不到30m的,人多的地方不和人家挤,自己找自己的点。现在一般是没找到鱼就不抛杆,因为声纳上没鱼,下面就没鱼的,没鱼再抛杆不就浪费时间么。

顺便说一下,凡是拉锚感觉要断腰的,一般是2个原因:1,肾亏,需要补!2,你不是在拉锚,你是在拉船...在用锚绳拉船同时和水流叫劲...........

Secondly usual boaters don't realise your point that they are in fact retrieving the rope in the first action they are actually dragging the resistance of the boat against the current which makes life hard.
That is why sometimes certain boaters, especially in deeper water, try to divert the retrieval process on the side of the boat while engaging slow forward motion towards the anchor. Besides it also gives the person who retrieve the anchor a better/comfortable position to pull the pin in.

各地情况不同。
Melbourne 的 Western Port 水急,航道窄。无论是Target Gummy,Snapper还是KGW,都需要找准地点后下锚。要是Drift的话,毛也钓不到一根。
Jack说的那个装备也不好使,周围有船,施展不开。我买过一个,后来送人了。
