我有个5米的玻璃钢小船,outboard的mercury75匹马力2冲发动机,最近考虑换螺旋桨,因为现在那个螺旋桨有点磕到了,而且桨叶边缘都有些容易割坏手的那种感觉,材料是铝制的带3个叶片的。最近网上看到有个些人也给小船配备4个叶片的不锈钢螺旋桨,但也有人说4个叶片的适合大船,大家有用过的吗?会有很大区别吗?比如操控,加速,油耗,转向,等等别的任何区别,还有我这个成色的螺旋桨有必要换吗?毕竟买个4叶不锈钢的也得好几百,还有就是我淡水玩的比较多,常去eildon

你原来那个可以的,不用换的,除非残缺了。换个不锈钢的不少钱,不值得。
4个叶片不会比3个叶片的快,这个是给我船做保养得人说的。

No point to change new prop.
4 blades = combine to enhance handling, hole shot, low-speed planning ability, cruise efficiency, fuel efficiency, load-carrying performance, big seas performance, following seas/down current performance, ventilation/cavitation resistance, motor elevation capability, etc.
The addition of the extra blade causes increased drag, which, in turn, requires more horsepower, in order to achieve the same rpm. Since the horsepower is limited, the rpms drop, and the speed will tend to drop with it.

You should see more boaters use 4 Blades if not much difference. Not much extra cost from 3 to 4 anyway.

原来的可以使用,无问题。螺旋桨不要随意改变,搞不好对齿轮耐用度很大影响!

I agree with you. Newer design is a bit better. Don't forget that the diam. is smaller (approx 1") than 3 blades. That's why good for slow trolling.

I had a few scratches on my alu prop as well due to friend's naive control, however I am still using the scratched prop until today.
The main concern after your prop hitting objects are whether if your alu prop is cracking, visible or non-visible, prop shaft has been damage or bend, etc., as all these factors will contribute to damage of the gear shaft and vibration of the engine when vessel making way.
I am not sure about the pros and cons between 3 or 4 leafs of the prop but what I understand is alu prop is lighter thus less drag and save you fuel but fragile comparing to stainless prop which is heavier but robust.
Please advise us the difference if you manage to change to a 4 leafs stainless prop. Good luck.
