Some of my friends can live with $50/ week just for food/travel/fuel...etc. So I wana get an insight from friends here, see how much we usually spend per week :)

Haha...... I think what you're doing is good, you take record of your expense and food... and yes, trying to buy On Special items is what I try to do too, but sometimes I cant do it if I run out of stuff at home. I try to cook from fresh ingredient instead of premade food too :)

veg is good, rice and pasta , cheap too

There are alot of food that are healthy, fresh & cheap :)
Tofu, eggplant, zucinni, tomato, savoy cabbage...etc
