Two teams of 3 midwives provide team LMC care at Birthcare.
Each woman books with one team and pregnancy and postbirth care is provided all three midwives.
During labour you are cared for the midwife in the team who is rostered on the day you go into labour.
Birthcare midwives are experienced and committed to supporting primary birth at Birthcare including Waterbirths.
Smooth transfer to Auckland hospital can be undertaken if required.

Auckland Hospital, before becoming an independent midwife in 2009. I qualified as a midwife
with a Masters degree from the University of Utah in the United States and worked in a high
