先说说我的,在这之前interview 了一些公司。第一次正式的interview 是 e&y,大家可能不知道big4 accouting firm 是要IT Graduate的,而且每年的人数都在增长,因为现在很多大的公司都有很大system,所以需要一些人来做information system auditing.我个人感觉这对 IS 毕业的人来说是个机会, 当然除了big4 以外一些本地的和审计相关的大一点的公司也要IT的人的。(希望有人可以补充)。我想大家可能觉得有的时候申请这样的公司可能进取得希望不大,不过我感觉去了e&y assessement day ,你基本上把在 nz 所有的interview 的种类都见到了。 partner interview ,group assessment , psychometric testing.而且会给你信心,你将来在去interview 的话就会更加从容。interview 的内容和网上介绍的都差不多,不过好像他们会问你,你最近有没有在报纸上看到一些商业信息,这些信息是什莫,你对他又什莫样的看法?我interview的时候有,去年朋友 interview 的时候也有。那个group assessement 很麻烦,你们一组人要一起完成一个项目,我们当时是看一个用一种古代文字写的instruction。每个人会份到2-3张卡片,上面写着每个词的意思或者一些条件。你不能让任何人看到你的卡片,只能用verbal communication 去告诉大家。大家在一起又要竞争,又要合作在规定的时间内完成这个问题。一些hr 得人会坐在旁边给每个人大分。我感觉引入这个人很聪明,不过就苦了我们留学生,语言问题真的是。。。唉!不过我感觉interview 完了以后感觉很好,超级喜欢从哪个写子楼上看海景。不过最后人家没要我。 (希望有去过big4 或者类似的公司的人补充)

明年自己要去工作的地方,可能自己找到的工作都觉得好.要是通过他们的graduate programme进去的话第一周会去wellington 的 head office 玩四天.应该是boot camp吧.还没去过很期待的说.

一些interview 的网站,里面内容还ok,如果觉得不好只要google会有一大堆.也可以发到forum上,里面有很多高人帮你解答.个人感觉interviewcorner的不错,尤其对区.NET的.

现在知道的就这么多,其他的一些公司找人找的都差不多了.比如,olympic,touchpoint,kiwiplan.知道补充下.我在43楼贴了一下,自己在找工作的时候找到的关于 IT公司的网站,给正在学习的或者找工作的一些信心,这里的IT公司真的很多,很多,比你想象要多.所以只要好好找,一定可以找到的.成绩,经验都不是问题,一定要对自己有信心.

IT 的工作我去interview过的,从来都没问过pr不pr的事.他们从来不在乎,只看能不能胜任这分工作.IT 毕业的唯一好处我感觉就是找工作的时候不受是不是pr的歧视,从来没感觉到.只有少数公司会说只要pr,象ibm,ms...我很象把我的cv发过去,然后等他们想interview我的时候说,我不喜欢他们的公司,不过从来没做过,觉得没准哪天可能去那里工作.

好详细啊~~~还有一个叫做Rad3的也在招人,他们的project12月正式开始~~不过是个小公司。
我个人不太在乎公司大小和名声,有的时候觉得小公司更好,因为有机会做不同的职务,我觉得能学到的更多。大公司可能福利方面好一些,不过通常工资不是很高,而且你可能是一个big team里面的一员,比较有可能长时期做同一种事情。不过这还是看个人,有的人喜欢稳定的职务,有的人喜欢有挑战性的~~~大家都加油吧!interview还是准备充分一点去,至少稍微准备一下,知道想要什么,不然容易失败!(本人曾经深受其害Orz)

这个不见得。其实对于第一份工作来说还是大公司比较好。他们又比较系统的培训计划,比如他们会鼓励你第一年考完微软认证的证书。比如他们有很多有经验的人在你身边帮助你。工作的内容是要看公司的性质。比如,像datacom 这种 solution provider,你每个项目做的会不一样。不过向一些行业软件的公司,他们做的东西都是在意了领域可能就比较不一样。还是鼓励大家毕业以后申请一些大的公司,都积累一些经验,将来或者你想去小公司挑大梁或者自己单干都会积累更多的经验

也的确啦~~~不过太大的公司比如IBM,microsoft等等都不收国际留学生的~~~有的小公司也给这些培训的。olympic就是的,不仅给你培训,考证,还鼓励和支持年master和Phd...大小公司都各有各的好处啦!不喜欢的以后再跳槽,datacom的turn over很低,这是好事~~说明大家都很喜欢那里的环境~~大公司的确reputation也会比较高,能进大公司当然还是进,我们班今年去IBM的不少!

Interview 是一般分2次。第一次的时候是,HR advisor,manager/team leader, Senior Staff.给你面试,很general 的问题。
第2次,是HR manager,manager/team leader, Senior Staff 给你关于技术上的考试等。。
如果都合格,你就背录用了。。

其实我认为新手还是找个小公司作比较好,虽然可能工资福利不太好,但是你所能学到的东西是大公司不能提供的。尤其是Developer。比如上面的那个sitevisionz这类。
大公司分工太细,大多数情况你只能拿着BA写给你的functional requirements写你不知道干什么用的class,代码能写得好但是你永远不知道从business level你所做的一切有什么用处。而客户或senior level是不会管你代码是如何写的。
小公司这方面的优点就是你可以接触到许多层面的事情。而且许多真正的geek都是隐藏在这类公司里的。
当然我说的也不绝对,但是这是我5年来在IT业里所处的感受。希望能有所帮助

谢谢,大小公司都有好处吧.大的公司可能给你的training更多,发展的空间更大.而小公司你要什么都会,学到的东西更过.

如果你自己不想学即使给你training又有什么用处呢?technical方面的东西完全是可以自学的。
至于发展空间的话,那要看你自己如何衡量了。我认为机会是同等的。

这个看人了,不过大公司看起来给人感觉好.小的公司对自身的发展好.不过对于毕业生来说,同时接到大公司和小公司的offer,我还是会选大的公司.
