新西兰新西兰驾照 IDP Driving in Japan

Plan to rent a car in Japan. Shall I have to get an IDP ( International Driving Permit)? Anybody have done it before? Can it be in Japanese? Or it only in English?

You can apply and get it immediatly in AA.
PS: you must have FULL new zealand drive license and use together with IDP.

I know that. Just wondering if the IDP is in English or Japanese. Any additional charge if it is in Japanese. I got my full license already.

本地FULL LICENSE就可以，直接去AA填个表、拍照、付钱（好像是60-70）。5分钟做好了，网上还说要几天。
要注意，这个IDP有效期只有一年，还有中国大陆不认。
