Pukekohe 赛道大装修：
A $6.6 million upgrade to Pukekohe Park Raceway has been revealed by V8 Supercars, with construction starting as early as next month.
The renovations are in preparation for the Auckland 400, which Pukekohe will host on 12-14 April.
V8 Supercar CEO David Malone said: “The improvements are significant and will ensure Pukekohe remains a top-class asset, just 40 minutes from Auckland CBD.”
The upgrade includes lengthening the track from 2.84km to 2.91km; three new turns on the back straight; 10,000 square metres of new level hardstand area; new first and second line of protection (impact absorbing concrete barrier and debris fence); and improved driver safety with revised runoffs, tyre walls, transition kerbs and gravel traps.
The work is necessary to improve the FIA safety level for the circuit.
“With improved spectator and corporate facilities, V8 Supercars has no doubt it will again become New Zealand’s premium motorsport precinct, and a significant boost for motorsport in this country,” said Malone.
Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Department (ATEED) will invest approximately $2.1 million per year for five years in the event, including a one-off capital grant of $2.2 million towards the $6.6 million upgrade a $1 million annual sponsorship fee.
V8 Supercars Australia is underwriting the event, while the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and venue owners Counties Racing Club also have a significant stake.

多了个corner 16 这样好，不会像以前大部分都是右弯左胎耗损严重减少左右不太平均的几率了，以后后面直线要冲过200+更要注重出弯了，这样一来有意思了，直线快的车不再占后面大直线的优势，非常好！
