As of 1 July 2014, travel agents no longer have to be licensed or participate in the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF). You can dispose of your licence certificate and do not have to return it to the Business Licensing Authority.

how can you secure the best rate ?
it is a bit hard for new starter in this industry. better rate means more quantities to the suppliers. you won't get the a lot of customers in the very beginning. Normally you will pay from your own pocket for your customers in at least first year, break-even for 2nd year, cover your lost of 1st in 3rd year and start making a bit from 4/5th year. However, 90% travel agent went to either liquidation or close down in 1st couple years.

当然可行，现在有哪一个行业不跟互联网有关联呢，那些还单单只靠门市的小店面迟早会消失的。旅行社的网站如果想做的好的话前期投入非常大，因为他涉及到票价搜索和预订这两个关键技术问题，这还不是大钱要砸得地方呢，你可能要用10几万或几十万去做marketing才可能跟现在那些大的网上旅行社抗衡。没事看看这些网上旅行社霸头吧，他们都是每年用7位数来运营他们的网站的：
