我们四年前在四大行之一存了一些钱,那时候progress saver利息还很高,一个月只要存进去10块就行,是自动从everyday账户里扣的,每个月一号扣,每个月就会付利息进去,这样前两年都是正常的。后来收到他们的信说改了什么policy,好像是计息时间变了,还是自动转帐时间变了,总之他们系统有一些改动,但信里说不用我们做任何操作,就是他们系统会自动调整。我们那时候在国内,也没怎么管。现在我们刚刚回到澳洲,有一天我老公检查账户,突然发现一年基本上有三四个月没有利息。仔细检查后发现有几个月每月的一号如果是星期天他们就会跑到上个月最后一天扣十块,然后系统就会认为这个月没有打钱,就不给利息。我们就向银行投诉,结果银行发信承认他们的问题,也承认少给了很多利息,可是他们竟然说我们也有责任检查账户。只肯陪三百块,基本上像没陪一样。
当初银行保证会自动扣款自动给利息,后来系统变化他们也说不用进行任何操作,这种情况如果还要投诉可以去类似fair-trading这样的地方投诉吗,应该去哪里好,如果找报纸或者网络可行吗。其实这完全是他们系统bug,别的客户肯定也遇到过这样的问题,不注意的话就白白损失利息。
有银行的大拿了解这方面的情况吗

How to complain
Any member of the public can complain. Complaints may also be made by a group of persons, a company or a partnership.
Before complaining to the Ombudsman, you should first try to resolve your complaint with the organisation concerned.
The Ombudsman does not give legal advice and you do not need a lawyer to complain to the Ombudsman.

是,转钱是自动的,原来是好的,后来系统好像改了,每个月第一天要是星期天他好像自动跑到上个月最后一天转,看上去这个月就没转,上个月转两次,每个progress saver都会遇到这个问题,估计他们坑了不少钱。不过现在progress saver利息不行了,存的人也不会多了
