Natalia Harvey’s year has been turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. With prestigious national and international opportunities put on hold, Natalia retreated to NSW to spend lockdown with family, before returning to Melbourne a couple of months ago.
We are fortunate to have Natalia in Melbourne to perform a rich recital of contrasts on Melbourne Digital Concert Hall. There’s passion, drama and even impetuosity… but also sweetness, tenderness, and some of the most delightful tunes ever written for the violin.
Performing with eminent pianist Louisa Breen, Natalia brings us Brahms’ iconic D minor sonata for Violin and Piano, complemented by Janáček’s fiery Violin Sonata and Kreisler’s evergreen Viennese Dances.
