从周五起北领地将取消大悉尼为新冠病毒热点地区的状态。
这个行动将允许海港城的居民自由进入北领地，而不用隔离检疫14天。
今天新州突然新增12个病例，令人担忧这或许妨碍重新开放边界。
北领地卫生厅长Charles Pain 医生说他将密切关注新州形势。
他说：“ 我对新州的充分测试和病例跟踪有信心，这次爆发将被控制住。“
”根据这个建议和我们自己对证据的审查，我对从明天起取消大悉尼的新冠病毒热点状态仍有信心。“

Northern Territory to remove Sydney's coronavirus hotspot status, ease border restriction
Sydneysiders are about to have more holiday options - with the Northern Territory moving to ease its border restrictions.
The Top End will on Friday revoke Greater Sydney’s status as a coronavirus hotspot.
That will allow residents of the harbour city to travel freely into the Northern Territory without quarantining for 14 days.
There were concerns that a sudden spike in cases, with 12 in New South Wales reported on Thursday, could jeopardise the reopening of the border.
NT Chief Health Officer Dr Charles Pain said he would monitor the situation closely.
I am also confident in the thorough testing and contact tracing response in NSW, and that this outbreak is contained,” Dr Payne said.
“With this advice and our own review of the evidence, I remain confident about revoking greater Sydney as a hotspot from tomorrow.”
There are already three flights scheduled to leave Sydney for Darwin on Friday.
Another is bound for Alice Springs.
In stark contrast, however, the new cases in Sydney could delay the opening of the Queensland border for another month.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said New South Wales needed 28 consecutive days of no community transmission cases to reopen the border.
NSW Health contact tracers are running out of time to find the sources of three of the eight new community cases reported on Thursday.
Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant earlier said they weren’t ruling out the possibility those three cases are somehow linked to the other five.
