莫里森先生告诉《今日》节目主持人Karl Stefanovic说:"维州情况很严重。"
"一段时间里都会继续严重的。但Karl,我的工作是支持他们。那是我的工作。"
莫里森先生要为维州最近新冠病例增加负责的酒店隔离违规情况很严重。
他说:"当然我们要为自己的决定负责任。"
"这方面不会改变。但这不是关于我们喜欢什么不喜欢什么。这是关于现在需要做什么，需要完成什么任务。"
"这是关于要特别支持墨尔本人，确保他们得到他们需要的支持，让他们度过难关。我全力支持安德鲁来达到这个目标。"

An additional 1000 Australian Defence Force personnel have been tasked with helping the state deal with contact tracing, virus testing, police control points and quarantine compliance.
"That includes 70 ADF personnel going into planning logistics and that includes Commodore (Mark) Hill who can provide some much needed leadership direction within the public service effort particularly around the contact tracing," Mr Morrison said.
"(But) it's a Victorian problem and it requires a Victorian government to deal with it and we will give them every help and support we can for the decisions that they need to make and ultimately they will be accountable for that."
