Eddie Dilleen 成长在政府的公屋里,现在却拥有价值300万澳元的房产投资组合。
他说,布里斯本和黄金海岸是眼下澳洲买房最好的地方。
他仅仅27岁拥有14套房产,其中一半以上的房产是在昆州东南部购买的。
18岁时他就开始买房了。
当大部分年轻人把钱花在音乐,旅游和其它玩乐的东西上时,他就在为首付攒钱---激励他的就是一无所有的成长环境。
他对9号台说:
“在我成长时我们没有很多钱,我知道在将来我真想改变这个状况。”
买第一个单元房时,为了攒足第一个首付,他有时干三份工作。现在他的目标是在30岁生日时拥有20套房产。
他的重要贴士就是,从小型的买起,做大量的研究,购买低于市场价值能负担得起的房子,开车3分钟到大都市区,而且房子要有很高的租金回报。
实际上他的租客就为他偿还了房屋贷款。
他说;“我买的很多房产,租金必须比实际的房贷高一倍,以防利率上升,这样我就更保险了。”
“我相信最好的机会是在昆州东南部,这是我一直在此买房的地方。”
Moreton Bay 的Petrie ,Ipswich, Logan 的Beenleigh , Coomera 和Southport 周围的地区都吸引了他的目光。
对于镇屋t(ownhouses)和单元房,他的目标是不高于27 万澳元,租金收入每周350澳元。对于平房(house)来说,他的预算在35万澳元或以下,租金至少每周是380澳元。
他现在作为买家代理帮人买房。
独立房产专家说,像他这样的成功故事很励志,但是警告投资者要有缓冲的余地以应对房贷增长1%- - 2%。

It's a rags to riches property success story.
Eddie Dilleen grew up living in housing commission, but now boasts a property portfolio worth $3 million.
He says Brisbane and the Gold Coast are the best places to be buying in Australia right now.
He's just 27 and has 14 properties - more than half of those bought in South East Queensland.
He started out when he was 18 years old.
When most teenagers are spending their money on music, travel and all the fun stuff, he was saving away for a deposit - motivated by that background growing up without anything.
"Growing up we didn't have a lot of money and I knew in the future that I really wanted to change that," he told 9NEWS.
He worked three jobs at times to save for his first deposit on a unit. Now his goal is to own 20 properties by his 30th birthday.
His top tips are to start small, do lots of research, buy affordable properties below market value, buy within 30 minutes drive of a metropolitan area and make sure the property will attract a high rental return.
His tenants effectively pay his mortgage for him.
"A lot of the properties that I buy, the rent has to be double what the actual mortgage is so in case the interest rates go up, I'm more than covered," he said.
"I believe the best opportunities are within South East Queensland. That's where I've been buying."
Petrie in Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Beenleigh in Logan, Coomera and areas around Southport have all caught his eye.
For townhouses and units he aims to spend no more than $270,000, and collect rent of at least $350 per week. For a house he sets his budget around $350,000 or under and aims for rent of at least $380 per week.
He now helps others as a buyer's agent.
Independent property experts say success stories like this are inspiring. but warn investors ensure they have a buffer and allow for a one to two percent rise in home loan rates.
