我现在有engineering conditional offer， 就差个雅思成绩。我雅思总分到要求了6.5但口语和写作差0.5， 这可能被录取吗？
如果我上science（physics）， 半年后可以转吗？

My cousin got in science for his uni first year. However he didn't get in engineering in semester 2 .
He was just about to give up getting in. You will never know until you try.
Now he is doing 2nd year of uni. He got in Engineering accelerate pathway. This mean he is doing 3 years instead of 4.

Isn't AP only for school leavers? Also you said your cousin did one year of BSc before getting into Engineering, I think that's why he is now only doing 3 years instead of 4, because the first year is credited. This is not AP.

No I don't think so.
The email Au that sent to him said about accelerate pathway.
Let put it this way, people who have not enough points to do BE for the first year, they do Bsc instead and they apply for engineering.
If they got in, as what you said they do only 3 years because the first year is credited.
So isn't that unfair to those who work hard and got in BE for the first year?
That means there has no different for the first year between BSc and BE? That doesn't make sense to me. And also I guess the stuffs you learn from BSc and BE are not the same.

Why would you feel that's unfair? Only very few BSc students can get into Eng second semester or year2, and it's the reward for their hard work in year 1 BSc.

acturally, whether the first year study in sci is credit or not depent on  the courses u studied in science. if the courses are equal to engineering courses or available in engineering, they will be credit, such as general education courses in engineering list or sometimes two courses are equal to one engineering course. most of time accelerate pathway or alternative pathway students have to study in summer school in order to catch up to other students. they spent more time and money than others.
