Factory Manager – Health Supplement
Alpha Health Care (NZ) Limited is an Auckland based manufacturer of health supplement engaging in the research, manufacturing, and marketing of health supplements primarily made from natural ingredients.
About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Factory Manager with experience in the food ,pharmaceutical or related Industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism with a can do attitude.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering optimal production performance and ensure that continuous improvement underpins daily operations
- Fostering a team environment and communicating regularly with staff
- Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding resources planning, capacity and future initiatives
- Responsibility for quality outcomes – meeting customer expectations, GMP standards and Company guidelines
- Maintain all plant and equipment to ensure high standards of operating capability, safety and longevity
- Provide leadership, mentoring and training for team members.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a production management role within the food, pharmaceutical or other related industry
- Clear understanding of good production practices and the need for the highest quality standards
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Bilingual in English and Chinese would be an advantage but not a must
