Community engagement - Pakuranga to BotanyThank you for visiting us at our recent community information days and providing your feedback on the detailed design of the Eastern Busway between Pakuranga Town Centre and Ti Rakau Drive Bridge.
A summary of the community information days held in July and August will be available soon.
Pakuranga to Botany updateA Notice of Requirement for a new designation around Pakuranga Town Centre has recently been lodged with Auckland Council. It encompasses works on Ti Rakau Drive, Pakuranga Road, Reeves Road, Cortina Place, and the South-Eastern Highway (SEART).

Section 23 noticesNotice has been given that Auckland Council, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the required land for roading purposes, and a leasehold estate over land for temporary occupation for road construction works in connection with the Eastern Busway roading project for the following properties:
- 177 Ti Rakau Drive, Pakuranga
- 185 Ti Rakau Drive, Pakuranga
- 191 Ti Rakau Drive, Pakuranga
- 212 Ti Rakau Drive, Pakuranga.

Project overviewThe Eastern Busway will connect Botany, Pakuranga, and neighbouring suburbs to the rail network in Panmure.
It will include new stations at Pakuranga and Botany with three stations in between them, cycling and walking connections, urban design enhancements, revitalised town centres, and initiatives to improve traffic flow.
The Reeves Road Flyover between Pakuranga Road and Waipuna Bridge will reduce traffic congestion in the Pakuranga town centre and improve journey time and reliability.
When the busway is complete, you’ll be able to travel by bus and train between Botany and Britomart in 40 minutes, which is 20 minutes quicker than now.

20 September 2021Under Alert Level 3 preparatory works commence from Wednesday 22 September, with construction from Sunday 26 September. Read more about these works.
20 August 2021The planned traffic switch for August 20 has been delayed. Construction is paused during Alert Level 4, to reduce contact and keep us all safe.
9 July 2021 From Friday 20 August to early October, eastbound traffic will use the new Busway Bridge, with two lanes kept open. Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on the existing Panmure Bridge. Read more about these works.
17 June 2021From 12th – 25th July, traffic on the Panmure Bridge and Church Crescent will be reduced to a single lane in each direction so critical work can continue on the Eastern Busway. Traffic will be impacted, so please expect delays. Read more about these works.
17 May 2021From May 18 to May 28, there will be night works along Pakuranga Road. Traffic will move onto the Eastern Busway in a single lane in both the eastbound and westbound lanes. From 9pm Friday 28th westbound traffic will be shifted to the southernmost side of Pakuranga Road, this layout will be in place until 5am Monday 31st May. Read more about these works.
11 March 2021From 15 March to May 2021 we will be changing the road layout on Pakuranga Road between Ti Rakau Drive and Panmure Bridge. During this time, we will carry out major work to rebuild part of the road as part of the Eastern Busway project. Read more about these works.

26 January 2021Panmure Bridge will be closed to all vehicles except AT Metro buses and Emergency Service’s on the nights of Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 January from 11pm to 5am.

6 January 2021Overnight, Sunday 10 January 2021 one eastbound lane will again be removed from Church Crescent, Panmure and this reduction are expected to remain in place until mid-2021.

新加坡那个可是大项目,好像是类似国内的房产项目,几栋高楼大厦下面是商场。反正我是已经在对面买了走路可到的投资房,就等东区公交和新加坡这个项目完成

这是亚洲大都市式的方式,需要搭配发达的公交,新西兰轨道交通太差,不知道能不能很好适应这种方式。拭目以待。
但不管怎么样,新增加的商业和交通,对附近的房产会有一个带动效应。

Albany发展了好啊。我布局了Sunnynook,18号和1号打通最后一公里,公交快速线的延长都是利好
