如题,有人知道么?离公房区隔着一个College, 学校据说已经关掉了,有点担心.

又看到问northcote的...哈哈,我也在看投资房还是还在研究,都听说northcote是next boom之一,你那块就那样,有条件直接过西面上hill crest或者直接跳过上背面hauraki.非要看northcote就看东南面,西面金三角靠西那几条街,非要上北面那一小块也行,新公屋的话其实很大部分垃圾已经被踢走了,而且新公屋只是其中project小部分大部分是普通人,所以以后还会冲淡的,很多华人很怕因为不懂,要这样说,Mt Albert那块1w还是2w公屋的大project已经定了,还不是一堆人被忽悠过去吗?

看了一些Tonar Street的报道,又是毒窝又乱,真要买附近的房子有点不放心.

A lot of Changes are happening in Northcote. Regarding the school (hato Pete) closed down, was a boarding school, now closed because of poor management by the Maori Board. They are now changing it to Transformation Academy (name change and board change).
The houses built will be a mixed of houses for first time house buyers and some state houses. All state houses tenants are now moved out. The school (northcote intermediate and Northcote college) are changing too because of the mixed of people.
Northcote is a convenient suburb, hardly talked about and always perceived as old state housing, but in the next few years, it can be a shining suburb in waiting.

对,那个街是我本来也担心,但是现在都拆了,变成新公屋了,好像整个都要upgrade,housing nz不会再让这些人回去了

那片是,我之前工作关系跟一个住公屋的在devonport那边一个老人,屋里一大股大麻味,一直在抱怨之前住那边的(northcote),现在hsz因为盖新房把她弄出去了,新房改起来了不让她回去,所以她还是住旧房,我想吧也不能同情,不是自找的吗,HSZ花了大钱盖新房大好好机会让你走了还能让你们这是搞事情的回去吗,不值得同情

其实真不怕,我觉得还是中区很多地方就不展开了,一片一片公屋,租金还是那么贵,放假也那么贵,隔壁帖子不是有一个在meadow bank 2,3百万的高级公寓10米,新公屋项目吗,那花了2,3百万的那些人不就能跳楼了?当然我希望有人吓得腰斩卖,200的卖100得赶紧去简陋,哈哈

前些年听到公屋改革的新闻时,很多人指望公屋拆了后就没了,烂区逐渐变好,都指望是下一个ponsonby,所以那时很多人囤了Glen innes, pt england或者mt roskill, avondale的房子。当然回头看,有些人还是发了财,有些人可能少赚了点。所以位置好,只要不是公房区,我觉得问题不大。当然,自住的话,尽量远离是真。你要搞投资问题不大应该。

This unit at Northcote was sold for $810K (old and rundown). heaps of people, look like 2016 all over again.
More Russian, Indian, Arabs, less Chinese.
The final winner is Russian/Arab descends.
If the last round boom was pushed by Chinese Sounding names, this coming round will be pushed by foreign-sounding names. haha.
