类似于物业费,不过不是业主去聘请的物业公司而是业主自己组成的社区“物业”,讨论小区内部的事宜。
加入了每年都要付钱,写在合同里的。
另外,今天收到email,周末可能会加开轮渡,目前缺口50万一年(以后人多了就能收支平衡啦),政府和开发商会填补大头,但希望居民能出5万,这种事情就需要社区的大会来讨论投票了。

We asked HLC for more clarity about this proposal so members can be better informed about the background before we meet at the AGM next week.
Here’s their reply:
“HLC and AT (Auckland Transport) have been in discussions over the last few months regarding weekend ferry services. AT has advised that while there currently isn’t any budget available to provide a weekend ferry service, it is definitely a service AT wishes to provide in future. HLC and AT have been working together to explore mechanisms for bringing this service forward, and trial funding through NZTA (NZ Transport Agency) provides the best opportunity for this.
This NZTA trial funding will cover 50% of the cost of the service not met by ticket fares. In conjunction with AT, HLC have run some high level feasibilities that would see up to 13 return ferry trips over the weekend. AT has confirmed that the cost of this is $600,000 per year. Fare recovery has been estimated as $100,000, leaving a $500,000 shortfall to be funded. NZTA would fund 50% of this shortfall, being $250,000. That leaves $250,000 unfunded. HLC has agreed to contribute a third of the shortfall, and is seeking $50,000 from the Residents Society. HLC is also engaging with builder partners and local businesses at Catalina Bay to contribute the remaining amount.
The amount of money raised will determine the final number of possible weekend sailings.”
As it’s a considerable sum, the committee decided to bring the proposal to the AGM. While we are seeking an expression of support from members, the final decision will depend on an assessment of the business plan.

那5万是用来开通周末渡轮,目前AT出绝大部分,但是需要业主承担5万的缺口,看Facebook上的讨论大概率是投票不通过的。

把joining form填好寄出去(email)就行了,就是注册登记屋主。joining fee是300, 往后每年levy是250。有个物业管理也好,和国内的小区一样,有啥事就找他们,平时道路维护割草都是他们弄。
