几个月前，替朋友到现场监控调查。现场除了几位扫描和切割的技工外，尚有7个Engineer,其中3人是Director，还有两位surveyor和1位QuanitySurveyor. 分别代表，Body corp/房东， 设计方，施工方，council.
设计和施工质量可以说不知所谓。 例如，窗户居然没有Flashing,怎么可能不漏水。所用的水泥板，设计的钢筋混凝土保护层应有35mm厚, 但实测只有15mm,如此薄的混凝土，怎能有效防止钢筋生锈。
我是替那两百多个房东难过，因为，光是付给代表他们工程师的费用，已经超过100万。这还不包括，重设计，补修，打官司的费用。他们面对的是何种压力？

那位买了apartment， 家里水管响的朋友。确实这情况很烦人，你也应该走程序解决。可是你的问题和这200多个房东面对的，根本不算什么，零头都不到。
建议想买apartment的网友们，小心谨慎些。

出事政府会承担一部分费用的
都是变相的从广大房东地税里抽的，这才是真正的羊毛出在羊身上。其实这笔钱应该是政府官员工资里扣。

时间精力律师，草民是负担不起的。所以我认为必须和政府官员直接挂钩，高薪必须有风险才行。西方社会，只有和个人信用直接挂钩，才能有效率和作用。

many people who got involved with leaky homes claim ended up in "broken family" and "suicidal" due to financial stress.
It helped in the last few years when property prices hiked and people didn't talk much about it.
It looked like this issue is now back in focus. It also brought me back to the memory lane when I worked for the government in dealing with this issue in 2007.

How did the government handle the issue? By red stamps? By kicking the ball around? Seems the owners' options are to commit suicide or use Neymar roll in front of the public. Neither work anyway.

In the last 10 years: what needs to be reported are already reported in the media. You judge for yourself, how did the government do in helping, facilitating the crisis?
Basically, it ended up spending more money and more resources. who are the opportunists, making money in this crisis?

说实在，新西兰不需要那么多人，人来多了也管不好。人口一密集基本就傻眼了，房子交通设施，都是大问题。

I have seen many award-winning houses by some so-called architects ended up leaking. Many ran away to Australia in 2008s era. Many victims' houses are immigrants.
This is NZ issues, a lot of cracks in this society if you stay long enough to see. You are right to advise some people here to go back to China, it is a good advice, really.
