Hi guys,

I just become a tax agent and am thinking to have my own home business.

I have worked in an chartered accounting firm for 6 years.

I am taking the maternity leave and seriously thinking to start a home business.

Is there anyone having some ideas or experience about it?

Good luck。Is a big market so long you practice in a professional manner. Work for your clients. I have met many accountants that I have to work for them. There are many classes of accountant. Some are very low.

你这种情况自己做最好了。 做你这种生意的十有累积效应的， 有可能头两年很淡， 但是以后发展起来会很好的。先给自己定个目标积累100个客户吧。

Don't have to be high class. Be professional. Think of long term relationship! Avoid the attitude of whenever seeing clients making money, inexperience clients or whenever your client is a new business migrant, become greedy like many accountants, taking the opportunity to charge more, sub-standard work yet start siding all kind of reasons to ask for more money with many hidden costs.

These are my bad experiences and I have to fire them all despite going through many difficulties. These type of urgly accountant I normally clasified them as low class opportunists with psychologically imbalance when they see their clients have more money yet they have forgotten their clients are working very hard, could be harder than they can imagine.

Wish you will have lots of customers with your professional practice.

Can't agree with you any more.
But it is not suitable for me as I'm  taking maternity leave for half year. I'm a mum with 2 boys below 4 years old.

I went to church with my 2 sons today. There was a playgroup for kids in that church.

During talking with parents, surprising i found 2 potential clients. Even one potential client asked my to give the quota to her....

So happy... need keep good work though..;)
