Walk up Queen Street with your pet & hundreds of others this weekend - a truly unique experience!

The Great Animal Walk celebrates animals of all species and breeds, and comes just after World Animal Day.

The Walk commences at 12:00 noon sharp from Queen Elizabeth Square and marches up Queen Street accompanied by City of Manukau Pipe & Drum band, and proudly alongside SPCA Auckland Dog Squad and Outreach Therapy Pets. With streets closed to traffic and full of animals instead, it really is an experience not to be missed! + f* e2 e: d. S b9 U

The Blessing of the Animals The Blessing of the Animals church service celebrates the life and work of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. The service follows the Great Animal Walk and starts at St. Matthews-in-the-City Church from 12:30pm. View the order of service here >>.

Take the chance to have your animal blessed by the pastor of the Church, Reverend Andrew Tweedy, and revel in the atmosphere of a beautiful Auckland landmark. 2 ~. ~! {! q- w
