IE Money provides financial products and services, including remittance services, foreign exchange transactions and foreign exchange settlements.
As a licensed foreign exchange dealer, IE Money has independently developed a 24-hour online foreign currency exchange platform that adopts the latest Electronic Remittance System to overcome the geographic limits of traditional financial investment and services and meets the regulatory requirements of different markets. We are committed to continuously improving service quality, providing a one-stop centre for trading products, services and financial software systems for independent traders, fund managers, professional asset management organisations, financial organisations and banks.
The company is situated in the heart of the Auckland CBD.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Performing appropriate due diligence on new Clients (individuals, companies and merchants), requesting their CDD information, documentation, review and verification of received documentation and making an analytical risk assessment for new Clients;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain CDD documents;
- Have a thorough understanding of client’s business and related parties in order to monitor client’s activities for unusual transactions;
- Investigating high risk clients and reporting where necessary, including Politically Exposed Persons, and obtaining all necessary documentation to complete the client file;
- Investigate and assess alerts for potential money laundering risks.
- Perform further investigation on identified suspicious client and client’s transactions and report to the Compliance Manager;
- In conjunction with, and under the supervision of the Compliance Manager, to generally implement compliance with AML/FT policies.
Requirements
- More than 1 year demonstrated track record gained working within a similar role within FX/payments industry or within a similar regulated organisation
- Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Strong organisational skills to enable identification of required tasks and deadlines and planning and prioritisation of these tasks in an appropriate manner
- You will also be fluent in Mandarin and intermediated in English
