About the Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the following:
· Purchasing andmanagement of raw material stocks
· Manage returnsi.e. Alto pallets, layer boards and top boards
· Chep accountreconciliation on a monthly basis
· Close offManufacturing Orders
· Receipt inwards goods
· Maintenance ofBOM’s - quarterly review
· Back up for the WarehouseManager – as and when required, in conjunction with other trained warehousestaff
· Back up forGeneral Outwards goods duties – as and when required to cover during leave
We’re looking for:
· Minimum 3 years warehousingand / or inventory management work experience - manufacturing environmentbackground highly regarded
· Full driver’slicense and Forklift license – F Endorsed highly favourable. We can assist theright candidate to obtain F endorsement as long as you have a full driver license’sand forklift license.
· Extensiveexperience in inwards / outwards goods and general logistics processes
· Containerhandling experience minimum 3years, MPI AP required
· Strong computingand admin skills - Microsoft Office suite in particular - SAP knowledgedesirable and experience with Chep reconciliation process
· Accurate handlingand computer processing of all incoming stock
· Will be somegeneral warehouse hands on jobs
· Excellent communicationat all levels
· Good numerical& problem-solving skills
This role is a physical, hands-on role in a busyarea of the business. Accuracy, attention to detail, planning &organisation and communication are all essential skills for this role
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 4.00pm, to meet the operational needs of thebusiness you may be required to work additional hours as and when required.
