Currently, we are looking for a motivated Full Time Fixed-Term Shop Assistant who are passionate about IT products to help out our busy St Lukes Retail Store. This is 9 months fixed-term contract for covering maternity leave with the possibility in becoming permanent.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Provide a fantastic in-store experience including welcoming, assisting, and building strong relationships with customers.
• Ensure product knowledge is current and up-to-date across all product ranges.
• Ensure customers are assisted and that their expectations are met throughout the end to end sales process.
• Process sales transactions accurately including cash, invoice, credit.
• Complete exchange, credit note or refund procedures for customers in line with the company policies.
• Process stock to the warehouse, counting and checking quantities and product codes against consignment documentation and ensuring that stock is correctly entered into warehouse stock records.
• General duties as a Shop Assistant.
Requirements
• The suitable candidate for this position must have:
• Must be able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
• IT product knowledge and cashier experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Fluent English communication skill in both verbal and writing.
• Excellent telephone and e-mail skills.
• Outgoing personality and a team player.
• Computer Hardware knowledge at a reasonable level.
