Auckland BioSciences is a New Zealand owned company that supplies raw materials for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
We are currently looking for casual production assistants to join our team in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
About this role
- Mt Wellington location
- $23 - $25 per hour + 8% holiday pay depending on relevant experience
- Casual position (hours will vary)
- Entry level position - No prior experience needed
- Full ongoing training provided
Responsibilities
- Handling animal by-products
- Assisting with the storage, loading, and shipment
- Heavy lifting up (20kg-25kg)
- Wrapping pallets
Requirements
- Comfortable with working in a meat factory and handling animal by-products
- Flexible to work varied hours (Currently production operates between the hours of 4:00 am until 10:00 pm or later)
- Eligible to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident or a valid work visa)
- Physically fit to heavy-lift up to 20kg
- Own transport & full or restricted driver licence
- Clean criminal record
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Two employment references
- Disciplined and punctual at all times
