Marketing Minds is an outsourced marketing consultancy that keeps growing! We’re first and foremost marketers who are absolutely in love with what we do and the difference we bring to businesses. We like to think we’re good at what we do (we are a finalist in the 2020 NZ Marketing Awards, after all!) and we are looking for an intelligent marketing assistant with a can-do and highly motivated attitude to join our team. Reporting to the Account Manager, a crucial part of our work involves marketing to the Chinese community (both in NZ and overseas), and we’re needing a superb marketing assistant that wants to learn, grow and of course, make a difference!
So what will you get in return? Aside from flexible hours and the ability to work from home most days; you’ll also get to grow your current skills, learn marketing skills, implement strategic thinking, gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, and crossover to mainstream marketing. This is a 30-40 hours per week role, and pay is dependent on your ability and experience.
Our next superstar must have a good understanding and command of Chinese (Mandarin) and English language, as most communication with the team will be in English. You will help manage WeChat Service and Official Accounts (including designing and some copywriting), liaise with media agencies, analyse and report and potentially undertake account management and a degree of client interaction. You will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, flexible and always delivering exceptional work.
You will also need to have:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Chinese copywriting skills
· Familiar with WeChat article design tools e.g Xiumi, 135 editor
· The ability to work independently AND collaborate as part of a team
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Fast yet efficient and you take pride in your work
· Preferably an understanding of New Zealand and Chinese cultures
· Preferably experienced in design software e.g Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Chuangkit
· Knowledge of popular Chinese social media channels is desirable
