Vertu Equipment is the appointed New Zealand exclusive dealer for SANY Global Excavators and Roading Equipment. We stand behind SANY, one of the world's largest excavator and construction machinery manufacturers, providing a range of excavators and heavy machinery with best quality and services to New Zealand.
Due to ongoing expansion, we're looking for a Trainee Machinery Technician to join the Vertu team.
Duties will include:
- General maintenance and serving of machinery (mainly excavators form 1.8t to 21.5t)
- Liaising with our customers (face to face, over the phone and email)
- General housekeeping duties
Our successful applicant will have the following:
- Industy knowledge and hands on experience servicing/mechanically repairing excavators and roading equipment
- Team orientated and hard work
- Strong communication skills
- Highly self driven and motivated
- Goal orientated and focused
- Clean and full NZ class 1 licence
- Basic computer skill (Word, Excel, gmail etc)
