About the role
Seeking a highly motivated showroom sales consultant who is passionate about retail and home & living products to join our team in the showroom store at Mt Wellington, Auckland. Your role is responsible for providing excellent customer service and meets sales targets for the store; Keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting display of merchandise, or organizing the selling floor and stock areas. If you have the right skills, a great work ethic, and have a passion for design& interiors and help customers to turn a space into a beautiful and inspiring home, we want to hear from you.

Skills and experience
Proven customer service experience.
Proven sales experience.
Knowledge in the visual merchandising of retail is preferable.
Understanding the design, furniture or interior design industry is preferable.
Ability to handle multiple demands and manage different priorities with a problem-solving attitude.
Previous retail experience in “home and living” is desired.
A team player and self-motivated individual to meet targets.
Excellent verbal, written, and over-the-phone communication skills.
Reliable and friendly, with a bright and positive outgoing personality.
Be presentable and professional in appearance and demeanor.
Strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
Professional and courteous communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong resilience to deal with tough conversations when required.
Ability to work under pressure.
- Provide accurate information to customers (e.g.product features, pricing, and after-sales services).
Providing superior customer service in-store, over the phone, and by email.
Work Independently to achieve personal sales goals and meet sales targets for the store.
Providing after-sale services such as online order follow-up, delivery, and any suggestions.
Answer customers' questions about specific products/services.
Assisting with customer pickups·and dealing with customer queries and reporting to the related department.
Manage the exchange and returns of products
Keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise.
Assisting in the display of merchandise organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
Following store display and instructions to ensure products are displayed correctly.
Maintaining the overall image and great customer experience of the store.
Ensure the sales areas are clean and organized in accordance with store policy.
This role will need to be able to work on Saturday 9:30-6 pm.
