Qualifications & experience:
- Minimum of 1-year working eligibility in NZ
- Excellent customer service, organizational skills and excellent written and verbal English
- Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Show attention to details and care about accuracy
- Have good computer skills and able to work with basic program
- Hands-on and prepared to get stuck in and do the cleaning and physical work including any property maintenance/repair required
- Be reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure; be confident to work independently without inspection
Tasks & responsibilities:-Manage motel daily activities, reception and housekeeping-Responsible for the daily housekeeping operation, controlling time management. Ensure rooms and motels are cleaned and maintained by the housekeeping team to the standard defined-Ensure guests have an exceptional experience when dealing with the business, this means responding to queries in a professional and timely manner-Assess and review customer satisfaction and monitor guest feedback on OTA's etc-Ensuring room allocations and inventory are accurately maintained to maximize bookings, liaising with guests and handling complaints, performing check-ins and check-outs
- Promote and sell accommodation and service to customer, according to practical situation to monitor and adjust room rate, increasing profit and maximize the benefit
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agents, group bookings and Internet profiling
- Ensure the accommodation units are maintained to a high standard by completing room checks and ensuring maintenance activities are actioned.
- Audits stock on all areas to make sure that all required motel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need
- Ensure effective, timely and accurate communications flow about Motel policies and procedures
- Supervise and manage security arrangements, garden and property maintenance
- Weekly report to management
