Job title: Financial Director
We are a private owned company based in the Auckland airport in high growth mode.The company has been operating in its niche space for the last 12 years andhas seen considerable growth. The prediction is to more than double in size inthe next 3 years. The requirement for a Financial Director has arisen due to the incumbent looking to leave the accounting industry for a new career path ofchoice and hence this is an excellent opportunity to join this company。
The Role
The role of Financial Director will report directly to the Managing director. The role is broad and will encompass a bit of everything from data entry to strategic that includes:
• Preparation and monitor Quarterly company KPI and mangers goal and KPI.
· Preparation of the monthly financial statements
· Preparation of the annual budgets foreach of the investment schemes
· Preparation of the monthly financialstatements for each of the investment schemes
· Preparation of Annual audited accountsand liaising with the auditors
· Preparation of the monthly payroll
· Accounts payable & receivable
· Preparation of full tax and compliancereturns
· Manage the payment of investmentdistributions
· Daily office administration and other projectsand process improvement as required.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone that can grow with the company. A strong professional service orientated approach is essential. You will most likely benewly qualified and could be looking for your first commercial role out of abusiness advisory role preferably OR you could have worked through the commercial setting and looking for your next role. What is key is you must havea strong working knowledge of Xero, you must be keen to learn and develop andthirdly, you must be a team player. This is a small team that requires everyoneto pitch in so we are looking for the right culture fit for the team.
