SPACE is a structural design company based in Newmarket, Auckland.
We have an innovative, progressive design team. Currently, we are involved in exciting projects throughout New Zealand including medium to high end residential, apartments, community projects, along with commercial and industrial projects. About the role
Due to business booming, we are on the look out for some full-time Structural designers & Technicians (intermediate) to join in our team.
You will be exposed to a variety of projects and be involved in all aspects of design from structural calculating to drafting. For junior roles, be proficient in AUTOCAD, EXCEL and WORD is a must. For intermediate roles, ideally, you will be self-motivated and have related experience of calculating and drafting full building consent package.

Skill and experience
- Min. 2 years of relevant work experience for intermediate roles.
- Must be proficient in AUTOCAD, EXCEL, WORD. Knowledge of ETABS and design experience in China will be beneficial.
- Design flare and creativity with an ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skill both verbal and written, bilingual skill (English and Chinese) would give you a leg up, but not essential.
- Be self-motivated, proactive, able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Good time management skill.

Is any internship/voluntary position available? Civil engineering student, will graduate soon. Able to use Revit, C3d and SAP2000, familiar with NZ building code and NZS 1170/3101/3404.
