We're on the hunt for a Customs broker & Customer Service superstar!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs broker & Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our growing warehouse and logistics business, which specialises in consignment shipping between China and New Zealand. Based in Auckland, you will work closely with the sales and logistics team to support our B2B and B2C business and be happy to get hands on in our warehouse when needed.
You will be responsible for:
- Imports and Exports Clearance: Deal with cpmpany’s international imports and exports clearance with Customs and ensure timely payment of taxes and duty. Includes preparing and Filing customs documents, determining Tax and Tariff items, organizing and classifying shipments, lodge entries in TSW or Cargowise system, creating detailed shipping and tracking records , maintaining Trade-Related knowledge base, etc,.
- Customer Service: Answering all customer service queries via email, phone or messaging service for our B2C business. Ensure all queries are up to date and customers are happy
- Marketing Support: Assisting the Digital Strategist with any other additional marketing tasks.
- EDM: Mailchimp or similar
- Social media support: (executing the content calendar), posting in Facebook, Linked In, Instagram
- Wechat Official account: Writing and Posting promotion on
- Digital Reporting: understand the reporting across Facebook, Linked In and Instagram
- General communications support: Heavily involved across both our companies as part of our dynamic customer service team.
- Sales support: support any intiatives to grow the business through identifying new clients or additional service levels to the business.
Skills required
· Have Customs broker PIN and continuous experience as Customs broker role at least 2 years
· Have A degree in Marketing or Business, E-commerce related experience at least 2 years
· Familiar with international trade regulations as well as the ability to successfully categorize and classify shipments based on a complex tariff coding system
· You are self-motivated, customer-focused, brilliant communicator and Problem-solver
· Right Candidates must speak fluent English, Mandarin
· You must able to write in both English and Chinese
· Social media knowledge - Understand and use weChat, Facebook, Instagram and Linked In
· Proficiency in complete Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Elements
