Cultural EducationCoordinator works with all staff and volunteers of CNSST Education andSettlement Team, in aim of
- Building, maintainingand further developing professional, responsive and quality cultural educationsystem;
- Ensuring theoperation, management and administration of the responsible cultural learningcentres;
- Initiating andcoordinating community programmes in response to the local community need;
- Making afunctional, cooperative and harmonious working team.

A: CNSST Cultural Learning CentreArea Manager
B: Education and SettlementTeam Manager
Duties and responsibilities
1. Cultural Learning Centre Operation, Management andAdministration
1) To ensure andmonitor the centre’s operation.
2) To train andsupervise volunteers’ work at the centre.
3) To monitor all tutors’work and courses’ quality.
4) To be responsiblefor the students’ safety and the centre’s venue tidiness.
5) To be responsiblefor the centre’s orders, property and stock record & management.
6) To coordinate thecourse timetable, publicity, students’ recruitment, enrolment fees and roombooking.
7) To attend CLCstaff meeting monthly; and assist Education and Settlement Team withadministrative duties.
8) To be responsiblefor the accuracy of all forms and documents to be submitted to Head Office.
9) To be responsiblefor checking invoices, collecting fees and keeping each class at positivefinancial status.
10) To accurately processcustomer records and orders
11) To resolve complaintsin a timely manner
12) To complete thedata entry for CNSST CLC students’ and parents’ database.
13) To timelycommunicate with CLC branch staff to update and maintain the CLC students andparents’ database.
14) Other CLCoperation, management and administration – related tasks.
15) To be responsiblefor students’ recruitment for Holiday Programme and China Root Trip
16) To attend CLCstaff meeting monthly (a Friday night between 6 and 8 pm)
2. Promotion and Students Recruitment
1) To develop astrategic plan for CLC promotion, particularly for Parnell Centre
2) To design and collectpromotional materials for Cultural Learning Centres’ promotion.
3) To promote culturallearning centres through mass media and network.
4) To build upnetwork with local schools and other groups in aim of promoting CLC courses.
5) To respond to anyenquiries via phones, drop-ins and WeChat etc. regarding CLC courses, in aprofessional and accurate way.
6) To regularlycommunicate and follow up with the parents at the responsible centres to buildup relationship, to gain support and to identify any operational/managementissues.
7) To follow up withthe parents of the newly enrolled students to ensure the satisfaction andintegration of the new students at the responsible centres.
8) Other promotionand students’ recruitment-related tasks to be arranged.
3. Development
1) To develop newcourses at the responsible centres based on the students’ need.
2) To coordinatetutors’ meeting on a quarterly basis.
3) To assist theEducation Programme Coordinator to coordinate trainings for the tutors’ professionaldevelopment.
4) To developnetwork with local schools to promote and coordinate Chinese CulturalEducational Programme for local non-Chinese students.
5) To develop othercultural programmes and workshops at the responsible centres in response to theneed of the parents and the local community.
4. Coordination of Community Cultural Activities.
1) Coordination of Events and Cultural Activities
· To plan for E&S team events and activities
· To work out the event plan and budget in consultationwith the Education Coordinator
· To arrange and supervise the E&S Facilitator aboutthe implementation and progress of the events and activities as well asvolunteer groups.
· To take the responsibility for the quality of theevents and activities
· To handle emergencies in relevance
· To complete the evaluation and reports on the eventsand activities
2) Coordination of the Funded projects (Settlement andCulture related)
· To plan, promote, implement the funded projects andcomplete the targets and required services within the budget and timeline.
· To establish the database of the responsible projects.
· To complete the project evaluation and requiredreports
5. Other tasksto be arranged by Executive Director
