Furniture Now is a young and growing furniture company with 5 retail stores throughout North Island. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service along with quality furniture at affordable prices.
We have a full-time vacancy for Carpenter (Furniture Repair) to work in our repair unit located in Wiri, Manukau.
The Role:
Understanding the drawings with specifications to ascertain materials and time required for the work.
cutting materials and fabricating according to drawn plans. erecting framework.
nailing bed frames, head boards, bed room furniture or any other related products.
assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
cutting wood joints
may repair existing fittings
may work with plastic laminates or other related products.
Experience as a carpenter in furniture industry is essential.
