About the Business
Huntly Joinery Window Systems is a household name for producing quality aluminium joinery for the Waikato Region. From its manufacturing base in Huntly, the team is passionate about producing stunning – high-quality windows and doors to meet our customers’ needs. The company has a strong focus on Health & Safety and lean manufacturing. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a willingness to fit in with our company culture to join the production team.
About the Role
You will be part of a team of 3-4 in the cutting and prepping area, this role will include drop saw, twin saw and CNC machinery. Any experience in this are would be advantageous. You will be trained in the H.J.W.S manufacturing standard. We have an in-house trainer that will assist you in all your production needs and help you in becoming part of the wider team of 25 staff. You will be introduced into a positive team-first culture that we are proud of and are looking forward to see how we develop this further in 2019.
To be considered for the role, the candidate must possess most, if not all of the following criteria:
- A willingness to be challenged professionally and personally.
- A keen eye for detail is a must when producing a quality product.
- Willingness to learn new skills when required.
- Previous experience in aluminium joinery would be advantageous but is not essential
- Ability to work as a team to meet deadlines and targets.
On Offer
A full-time role, generally consisting of 45-55 hours a week.
