We are a leading provider of pumping solutions and equipment. We offer customised solutions mostly for the fire protection industry.
We seek a mechanical engineer with some welding and fabrication skills to join our workshop team.
- You might be someone with basic skills and enthusiasm to learn OR
- A seasoned tradesman (e.g. fabricator, fitter, turner, welder)
The job involves working on our pumpsets from fabricating the steel chassis and engine/pump assembly, all the way through to commissioning tests within the workshop and on site.
The ideal person for us will have:
- Welding experience (MIG & TIG)
- Fabricating skills
- Some experience working with sheetmetal would be good
- A car driver license
- Able to work 40 hours/week (approx. 7 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. Mon- Fri) with additional hours on occasion
- Able and willing to learn
- Knowledge of diesel engines and pumps would be viewed as a plus.
