Assistant Accountant/Xero Bookkeeper
Who we are looking for?
•At least 2 -3years’ experience preferred in a bookkeeping role
•Experience in an accounting firm is highly regarded but not essential
•Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications
•A solid understanding of end to end bookkeeping requirements
•Strong experience with using Xero
•Able to use initiative and common sense in approach to tasks
•Well organized and thorough work practices
•Superior Word & Excel skills
•Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines
•A keen focus on delivering value and solving problems
•A willingness to help grow the bookkeeping client base
•Ability to work unsupervised on and off-site
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately
•Proven experience in accounts receivable and payable
Duties Include:
•Accounts Payable
•Accounts Receivable
•Processing Supplier Payments
•Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
•Debt Collection
•Payroll
•Inter entity reconciliations
•Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
•Fixed Asset Maintenance
•Month End Reporting
•Preparation of GST and PAYE
