Financial Accountant wanted
The role
Your role is responsible for supporting our executive level byensuring best practice accounting and reporting to ensure strong financialresponsibility and accountability.
You will be working closely the wider Marketing and Salesteam and the wider business and prepare the financial and compliance reporting,including tax compliance. You will be responsible for performing taxationcalculations including annual income tax return preparation and review of othertax returns (GST, FBT, RWT, PAYE).
1. Review and manage supplier invoices and makebank payments
2. Monthly financial budget, cost management
3. Reporting of GST, Payday filing
4. Internal employee compensation
5. Issue the invoice and send it to the customer
6. Contract management
7. Processing account receivables
8. Handling other financial affairs of the company
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Tertiary level qualification in Accounting or related field
- Experience with monthly management reporting; statutory financial reporting; balance sheet reconciliations, taxation and budgeting/forecasting
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook and multi-entity accounting
- Experience in working in high performing teams of individuals to consistently deliver high quality output within a professional culture
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all business stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
