We are looking for a permanent Fleet Coordinator to help manage the Courier Fleet in our Penrose Depot.
The Fleet Coordinator is a critical operational role in supporting operations in consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations and operational standards for delivering on time performance at an optimized cost and zero tolerance in respect to damages.
Key functions and duties of your role will include:
• Hands on management of Courier Franchisees and daily freight operations
• Manage relationships with staff, peers, management and customers in a manner that seeks and encourages involvement and values contributions.
• Supporting the Courier Franchisees to achieve set KPI's for levels of service performance and continually improve the level of Pickup and Delivery related On Time service
• Develop, coach and mentor the Courier Franchisee team ensuring that personnel are properly trained and equipped.
• Support the other fleet management team in the development and performance management of Courier Franchisees and drivers to ensure the best levels of service and process compliance can be achieved.
• Complete regular run analyses and manage driver performance
Experience/ Qualifications
• Excellent clear English communication - both oral and written with strong numeracy
• Positive and bright can do attitude and drive
• Personable and tidy presentation, sense of humour, flexible outlook
• Exceptional time management with attention to detail and process driven
• Working with and leading people in a team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fit and energetic person, with great initiative, strong NZ geography knowledge and the ability to operate without supervision. Immediate starts available.
