We are looking for two full-time permanent workers to undertake all aspects of the planting, harvesting and packing of vegetables in the Hastings area.
This is a year-round position working 6 days of the week most of the year as part of a small team of 5-8 people.
You must have valid driver's licenses and be able to drive manual vehicles.
You need essential English communication skill as you will have to work with other nationalities also, hence the need to be able to converse with others.
The job is physically demanding so you must be strong and hard working but you must also have a commitment to quality standards and a safe working environment.
If one of the applicants excels then there is the opportunity to become a supervisor.
The positions may suit two males but a man and a woman are also welcome in these roles.
The pay will be hourly but will depend on how good the people are. If you learn quickly and work well then your pay will go up quicker.
If you take on responsibility then your pay will go up more.
The supervisor also gets a company car.
