Business Manager
Are you experienced in the management and optimization of delivery fleet or transport teams and looking to advance your career to manage an important service to our business?
As an all-round business manager at Universal Resources Ltd, you must ensure effective equipment utilization to meet internal and external customer requirements. Managing and improving our fleet to exceed customer expectations and business KPI's.
The successful person will be experienced with regards to carrying out routine checks on all the vehicles in the fleet. As and when required, organise inspections required for maintenances of vehicles, such as setting up appropriate appointment or purchasing equipment.
Part of your job will involve:
• Liaising with company and clients on regular basis and ensure all their needs and requirements are met.
• Arranging drop-off and pickup of vehicles in advance.
• Overseeing and ensuring all jobs are done appropriately and in a timely manner by all staff in the fleet.
• Ensure all goods are stored and transported in conditions that maintain their quality.
• Maintain appropriate business records and prepare operational statements and reports.
• Ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations.
• Make appropriate record of any variances.
• Must maintain harmony within the team and resolve issues in a timely manner whilst ensure that each member is complying with their respective duties (as entailed in their individual contract).
• Take responsibility of quality assurance
• Have an understanding of and commitment to Health and Safety regulations
You need to be IT savvy and have basic analytical skills, as well as a qualification in business or management or a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in logistics management environment.
