Duty Manager
A Fantastic opportunity has risen for an experienced Duty Manager , to join a dynamic Serviced Apartment Organization, to start immediately.
The role of Duty Manager would suit a vibrant and passionate individual to manage this dynamic team to excellence by delivering a positive guest experience and environment. The position requires monitoring of all operations - guest services, overseeing reservations, reception, housekeeping to ensure achievements of business objectives. Provide adequate supervision, instruction, training to ensure all employees have the knowledge and skills required to undertake their work duties safely. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to contribute positively to revenue generation by ensuring inquiries and bookings are handled in courteous, timely professional manner. This role will suit someone with a strong hospitality experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage daily operations and team members, might include Night Audit function
Knowing what matters in guest service and driving a culture that promote positive interactions
Building strong relationship with all stakeholders of our business
Develop and maintain police and procedures to ensure business compliance
Complete all tasks assigned by the Front Office Manager
Reception duties, incoming and outgoing e-mail duties. Directing internal and external phone calls
Candidate must be able to work flexible hours AM & PM shifts, Weekends and Public Holidays
Check in and Check out of guests
Managing and updating online reservation channels and website.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a similar role with ambition to forge a career in hospitality. ( 1 year minimum)
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet business deadline
Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Must possess high verbal and written skills in both English and Mandarin
Professional and polite phone manner
Demonstrate ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate a team focused on customer service
Strong organisational skills with positive attitude, good communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and high standards of professionalism & grooming
Computer literate (Microsoft Excel/Word) and experience in Opera System is an advantage.
