About the business
Snowball Securities is based in NZ and providing internet based securities trading service to local and worldwide clients who intend to invest on global market including trade in NZX, ASX, U.S, Hong Kong, China or other major international market. The company is the subsidiary of Snowball Group, which owns the most influential financial social networks (Xueqiu.com) among Chinese investors around the world.
SNB is an Approved Training Employer (ATE) and can assist with membership requirements for CAANZ.
About the role
-
Review journal entries and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual closing of the general ledger;

Review general ledger account reconciliations and variance explanations;

Lead the tax filing and make sure the local tax compliance;

Preparation and forecast of budget and budget management;
-
Preparation of financial analysis report;
-
Additional reporting and various support initiatives to the business as necessary;

Complete various ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis
Skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 8+ years of accounting experience including experience in general ledger accounting and financial planning & analysis;
- Certified Public Accountant preferred;
- Advanced PC skills with a high proficiency in Excel and data analytics required;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Experience in financial industry preferred;
- Both English and Chinese proficiency is required.
