We are currently recruiting Copper Service Technicians/ Cable jointers /Faults-men & Fibre Optic Technicians to meet expected growth in this fast-expanding field starting immediately. We are seeking people in any of the following Copper faults, installations and maintenance, Scoping, Build, Connect, OSB remediation and fault location. We will offer highly competitive rates & incentives
About the role
We expect you to be able to conduct a combination of the following tasks:
- Composite cable and structured cabling
- Test and locate underground cable faults and copper cable jointing
- Test and locate internal wiring faults in residential and business premises
- Test, locate and work on overhead lines.
- Test and locate broadband faults all platforms ADSL, VDSL including installation and configuration of Modems.
- Locate underground services.
Required Qualifications & qualities:
- Qualification in IT or Telecommunication
- A Clean Driver's License
- Presentable personality and tidy
- Self-driven
- Ability to resolve and solve problems
- Excellent Communication and people skills
- Good presentation and negotiating skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Adaptability to changing technology
